It highlights her sporting triumphs, her leadership in passing Title IX, founding the Women’s Sports Foundation, and campaigning for inclusion and justice. Through engaging visuals and accessible narrative, young readers witness her dominance on the court and her transformative off-court legacy.

My illustrations draw on energetic scenes, dynamic movement, and emotional resonance. The visuals clarify and elevate key moments—from the intensity of Grand Slam matches to the boldness of legislation and protest—bringing Billie Jean’s journey to life with heart, color, and clarity. This was a deeply meaningful opportunity to combine art, storytelling, and social impact.
